Job Description:
  • The Phlebotomist II represents the face of the organization to patients, collecting quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while following standard procedures.

Requirement/Must Have:

Experience:
  • 5+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric collections.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.
  • Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.
Should Have:
  • bility to adapt to change and work transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients.
Skills:
  • Strong communication.
  • Organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
Qualification and Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states).
