Description :
- This position requires tableau development experience and will be producing at least 1 tableau dashboard per week for the current DCS IT projects.
- This position reports to the Director of Data and Analytics.
Required / Desired Skills Skills: Required / Desired Amount of Experience Tableau dashboard development Required 4years Tableau server knowledge Required 4years Recent experience working with one or more BI platforms (ex: Power BI or Tableau) Required 3years Data cleansing experience Required 2years Basic understanding of SQL Required 1.5years Experience with data validation and data integrity Required 3years Experience working in Salesforce reporting Required 1year Bachelor's Degree Required Independent thinking and an aptitude for problem solving Required bility to tactfully deal with wide variety of stakeholders to resolve problems Required Exceptional written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal skills Required Exceptional team player Required Visual and artistic creative skills Required ble to perform well in a fast-paced environment with high levels of weekly task variation Required bility to interact with all levels of state government Desired Knowledge of Child Welfare Desired

- We partner with agency leadership, field staff, and data governance officials to leverage data in innovative ways, facilitating data-driven decision making and data-informed policy making.
- The Operation Analyst is key to this process, providing leadership and expertise within IN DCS. They develop extensive knowledge of a particular data domain (division of DCS) and can move between areas with ease to tackle problems and offer solutions. They are driven by asking "why", yet develop a deep understanding of "how" the organization and its partners operate. Our team members see problems and create solutions that better the organization. They are contributors to the DCS data community and the agency overall.
