About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care PA in Connecticut

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Connecticut. This opportunity begins on Dec 26, 2025, and is a 1-day assignment with 12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm. The provider will be expected to manage all incoming patients, including those requiring suturing and splinting, and address COVID-related cases.

  • Schedule: 8am-8pm; providers see all patients before leaving, with patients accepted until 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide urgent care services, including evaluation and management of acute illnesses and injuries
  • Perform suturing and splinting as required
  • Assess and treat COVID-related cases
  • Manage patient flow to ensure all patients are seen before the end of shift
  • Deliver care in a high-volume setting with fluctuating patient demands
