Lunchroom/Recess Aides - Holmes School
Job Goal:
- To supervise student activity to maintain a safe and orderly environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Human relation skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Enforce all school rules and procedures as established by the building principal.
- Monitor behavior of all students while they are in lunch or recess.
- Keep the appropriate teachers and principal aware of behavior (positives and concerns).
- Regulate the orderly procession of students to and from lunch or recess.
- Report any safety concerns pertaining to the lunch or recess environment.
- Interact with students and monitor their actions by circulating throughout the area.
- Assist students in solving conflicts.
- Review lunch or recess rules with students as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all students and staff.
- Perform all other duties as assigned from time to time by administration.
Hours & Pay: $15/hour School-time position. Hours dependent upon Holmes school location lunch/recess schedule with compensation and conditions established by the Board of Education.
