Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

  • Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and complete DOT inspection reports.
  • Verify bill of lading and maintain accurate records for off-hour deliveries.
  • Drive the tractor-trailer to designated locations, demonstrating your knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with DOT regulations, including delivery details and product temperatures.
  • Unload trailers, delivering products directly into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications as a CDL-A Driver:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
  • A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
  • This role requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a proficient level to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively.
