As a Nurse Educator ICU, you will join a 300+ bed facility acclaimed for its exceptional acute care hospital and modern rehab center. The Nurse Educator ICU will be leading new hire orientations, and designing training initiatives for current department staff. Additional duties of the Nurse Educator Critical Care ICU include updating policy procedures and driving the implementation of quality improvement plans. As a critical departmental resource, the Nurse Educator ICU must stay informed on the latest best practices, exhibit strong communication skills, and collaborate seamlessly with other Nurse Educators, Nurse Managers, Directors, specialists, physicians, and ancillary staff.
The ideal Nurse Educator ICU candidate will have prior experience as a Nurse Educator or Clinical Specialist, along with clinical experience in Critical Care. An active Registered Nurse License is essential, with the option to obtain the necessary state licensure before starting. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required, and a master's degree is preferred.
