If you are interested in this Customer Care Representative position, please apply to this posting Customer Care Representative Compensation • The pay for this position is $15.00 per hour • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Customer Care Representative Highlights • The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST • Remote position Customer Care Representative Responsibilities • Review internal and external refund requests to determine whether an overpayment was made and if a refund is owed to the payer and/or patient • Complete required documentation for voluntary offset, recoupment, or refund requests within payer-required timelines • Submit claim adjustments or voids to ensure accurate processing of returned supplies or claims billed in error • Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance providers regarding offsets, recoupments, and refunds • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer requirements through research and coaching • Complete assigned internal system service ticket requests • Assist with miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed • Maintain a positive work environment aligned with company values of professionalism, teamwork, and integrity • Maintain daily production levels of 10–20 accounts with above-average quality • Maintain an above-average attendance score • Perform other duties as assigned Customer Care Representative Requirements • 1–2 years of medical supply billing experience or 6 months–1 year as an AR Billing Clerk • Strong language, math, reasoning, and computer skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database programs such as Access • Ability to use or learn call center telecommunications software • High School Diploma or GED • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days • Ability to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience processing offsets, recoupments, refunds, or claim adjustments • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid or commercial insurance payers If you think this Customer Care Representative position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting
