Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnoses, developing tailored treatment plans
  • Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and management of chronic conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results to inform treatment decisions
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with best practices
  • Educate patients and their families on health and wellness, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Collaborate effectively with specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to ongoing professional development
  • Promote patient-centered care by building trusting relationships with patients and their families

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Completed residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Primary Care Medicine
  • Valid and active medical license to practice in the state
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in primary care
  • Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Understanding of current clinical guidelines and best practices in primary care
  • BLS, ACLS (through American Heart), DEA certifications required

Travel Requirements

Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs.
