Business Operations Lead, Metaverse

Summary:

As the Business Operations Manager for Meta's Metaverse organization, you will manage the business operations across multiple teams, working closely with leadership to help them grow, scale and run the business effectively. You will manage strategic initiatives ranging from business operations, process improvement, objectives and key results, headcount growth, and employee engagement programs, enabling our team to execute and innovate at speed. Candidates should have keen focus on driving business results, experience working in ambiguous environments, and a willingness to collaborate and optimize overall business objectives. They thrive in and enjoy a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment, love problem solving, and working on high pro?le projects. Metaverse is part of the Reality Labs organization, that focuses on creating innovations with advanced capabilities that are essential for the next generation of computing platforms.

Required Skills:

Business Operations Lead, Metaverse Responsibilities:

1. Drive cross-functional organization-wide initiatives such as budget planning, goal setting, and organizational transformation projects

2. Partner with organization leaders to define and track objectives and key results

3. Lead projects to create business value, aligning multiple stakeholders

4. Influence leadership teams, by providing recommendations backed by data

5. Prepare dashboards and reports for stakeholders and team members to drive transparency and track improvement

6. Leverage cross-functional relationships to drive company-wide touch-points and leadership processes

7. Work with leadership to track progress on strategic projects and deliverables, build decision-making frameworks, and ensure deliverables are on-track

8. Develop streamlined processes and mechanisms to improve operational efficiency and communication

9. Manage and facilitate key leadership meetings

10. Build high quality documents and presentations as needed

11. Own high-value programs that directly support the team

Minimum Qualifications:

12. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

13. 12+ years of experience with program management, project management, strategy, management consulting, or operations

14. 2+ years of experience supporting executives, director level and above as a program manager or Chief of Staff

15. Experience operating autonomously and in a highly organized fashion to track top organization priorities, identify efficiencies and drive alignment across teams

16. Experience building presentations in Keynote and/or PowerPoint and compiling briefing materials

17. Experience project managing multiple tasks under tight timelines and shifting priorities

18. Experience drafting long and short form leadership communications, working closely with communications teams

19. Experience working within or with a product development/engineering organization

20. Demonstrated experience anticipating and recognizing problems, suggesting alternatives or solutions, initiating or implementing solutions, and following through independently

21. Experience motivating and focusing a group of people/organization to reach challenging goals

22. Experience working with technical management teams to help develop processes and solutions

23. Experience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion

25. Experience in product strategy, hardware, devices, and/or working with creators or developers

26. Consumer products experience in an engineering, financial, project management, or operational capacity

Public Compensation:

$174,000/year to $242,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
