Description: Dev Launcher’s IdeaSpace project is seeking motivated and dependable software project team members to join our IdeaSpace team to support product features in development. Here at IdeaSpace, we support the mission of the Dev Launchers volunteer organization by collecting and workshopping ideas to then build and launch software products based on those ideas, all while growing your skill set in a safe low-pressure environment.

(no previous experience required, suggested for upcoming/recent graduates or anyone looking to get into the software development industry)

We have many roles available for our software team and our organization, including:

  • Front-End Developer: developing and maintaining our software application features
  • Scrum Master/Agile Coach: organize team and apply an agile approach
  • UI/UX Designer: design and build updates based on User Interface and User Experience
  • Software Tester: validate builds and features, identify and document bugs

IdeaSpace Team Member Requirements:

  • attend team meetings Sunday at 1pm US Central and Wednesday at 7pm US Central (2-3 hours total per week)
  • be willing and able to commit to 8-10 additional hours of effort per week to build and test solutions
  • a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • interest in growing, transferring, or supporting technical skills for yourself and others
