MercyOne Clinton has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or family medicine physician to join an outpatient practice (hospitalist coverage available, if desired) located in Clinton, Iowa.

MercyOne Clinton is seeking either an Internal Medicine physician or family medicine physician to join two Internists, 4 physicians and 5 APPs in a traditional practice setting. The practice offers an autonomous clinic environment with an excellent team in place for assistance. The group is looking to add a physician to fill a recent vacancy. This physician will have the benefit of stepping into a very busy and fully developed practice.

MercyOne Medical Group has a strong primary care network of 23 providers in the medical group. In addition to the general internists, MercyOne Clinton also has talented and dedicated Internal Medicine subspecialty physicians in Rheumatology, Nephrology, and Pulmonology. The hospital is contracted with Apogee to provide inpatient hospitalist/intensivist coverage.

MercyOne has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our Clinton Family Practice team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO - U.S. U.K. and Canadian trained physicians are welcome to apply

• BE/BC in IM (U.S., U.K. and Canadian Board)

• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa

• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice

• Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H1-B candidates welcome to apply)

Where you'll work

The MercyOne Clinton North Health Plaza is a multispecialty facility offering the right care in the right place at the right time. Along with primary care, services include cardiology, nephrology, OB/GYN, ortho and pediatrics. Lab and radiology services are also available. The primary care team consists of 4 physicians, 5 APPs and experienced clinical/non-clinical staff. Expect a busy practice with instant volume.
