Position Summary: Supports and compliments the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse by providing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing assistance to patient utilizing each patient's physical, psychological, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs under the supervision of the registered nurse
- Completes patient care timely and accurately based on the prescribed plan of care in conjunction with the Registered Nurse
- Completes documentation according to specific hospital policy
- Performs clerical / receptionist functions on the nursing units
- Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
- Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
Required Qualifications:
Education and Training:
- Currently certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- CPR certified.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous hospital experience strongly preferred.

Nights -12 Hours, 6:45p-7:15a

The expected pay for this position is listed below:
