High Impact Program (HIP) Student Nurse Aid– Verona
Verona, PA – Casual, Non-exempt; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Pay: $18.00/hour

The HIP Program is a one-of-a-kind, on-the-job training experience for high school students that will prepare you to sit for the CNA certification exam while providing an opportunity to work part-time in a hands-on learning environment that will give you a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and confidence as you grow into your career.

Requirements for the High Impact Program (HIP) Nurse Aid:
• Be a current high school student who is at least 16 years old.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.50 and basic computer skills.
- Maintain compliance with all Nurse Aide Training program policies including:
- Attendance Policy
- Completion of all program hours; including classroom, laboratory, and clinical time.
- Dress Code policy
- Level of Achievement Policy
- Academic Honesty
- Test/Exams
- Skills Lab
- Clinical Guidelines
- Program Evaluation
- Successful completion of the CNA Class and, when eligible, the CNA Exam
