Bookkeeper or Accountant Opportunity

Are you an experienced bookkeeper or accountant with excellent skills and work habits looking for a rewarding part-time job in Kent, Washington (East Hill)? Join our positive and supportive team of website professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who appreciates flexible hours, is organized, and enjoys getting all the details right.

Responsibilities

- Record daily financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Prepare and email accurate invoices, and follow up as needed

- Track renewals

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts

- Support payroll processing

- Prepare financial reports for management

- File selected state and local quarterly taxes

- Maintain organized financial records and documentation

What We're Looking For

- Proven bookkeeping experience (or relevant accounting background)

- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Good communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications and Requirements

- An associate's degree in accounting or other formal bookkeeping training

- At least three years of on-the-job bookkeeping or accounting experience

- Two+ years of experience using QuickBooks Online doing bookkeeping for a business

- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word, and email; Google Sheets experience a plus

- Work two to three days a week in person in Kent, WA (East Hill), averaging about 10 hours per week
