Senior Accountant

We are partnered with a public traded company in the Santa Ana area that is looking for a Senior Accountant. The role is mostly on-site.
- Salary range: 100-110k.
- Record journal entries and perform account reconciliations as part of the month-end close process
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information for monthly reports, ensuring timely and accurate period-end results
- Support the preparation and distribution of financial statements
- Investigate and respond to general ledger questions and inquiries
- Analyze significant variances and assist with follow-up explanations and supporting documentation
- Provide support during quarterly and annual financial audits
- Assist in the development of the annual corporate budget
- Participate in departmental or company-wide special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's in Accounting required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
