Position Summary: The Kitchen Worker plays a key role in the daily operations of the pizza shop by preparing food, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare pizzas and other menu items involving various kitchen equipment.
Perform prep work such as making dough, and sauce, etc.
Ensure food is prepared and cooked to consistent quality and safety standards.
Answer phones and assist customers.
Provide friendly and efficient service to ensure a positive customer experience.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements in compliance with state, local and company policies.
Keep workstations, kitchen equipment, and shop areas clean and organized.
Work cooperatively with all team members.
Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must follow all health, safety, and food handling procedures.
Must be timely and adhere to scheduled shifts.
Must have flexibility to work a variety of shifts throughout each week that include daylight, evening and weekend hours. Additionally, working some non-major holidays may be required.
