The Strategy & Business Development (SBD) team at Georgia-Pacific is seeking an MBA intern to join their team, this upcoming Summer 2026 in Atlanta, GA. This will be a 12-week hybrid internship opportunity that runs from late May to mid-August 2026.

Our Team

The Strategy & Business Development (SBD) team partners with the company's senior executives to answer the most pressing strategic questions and provide a broad, strategic vision for Georgia-Pacific.

What You Will Do

You will work with SBD Directors and VPs to:

• Create analytical and conceptual frameworks to help business units with their strategic decision-making.
• Develop points of view for GP businesses (e.g., industry value potential, competitive benchmarking, supply and demand balance, etc.).
• Provide strategic assistance in areas such as pricing, product and brand strategy, procurement, operations and logistics, M&A opportunities, and more.
• Present to and manage relationships with business and capability leaders.

This is a project-based internship. The exact project is based on a real business need and will be determined closer to the internship start date.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree MBA program.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, or related disciplines that require quantitative skills.
• Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2027.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Previous management consulting experience
• Previous experience with any combination of strategic planning, business development, financial modeling, and/or data analytics
• Experience in manufacturing industry (consumer products, packaging, building products, etc.)
