We have an exciting job opportunity for a Secret Cleared Appian Low Code Software Developer supporting DIA-NDOC under our DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract. You will collaborate with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations teams on a variety of tasks covering both backend and frontend software engineering. Our initiatives combine off-the-shelf solutions with new development, enhancing architecture with the latest in cloud computing, AI, and machine learning. We strive to provide state-of-the-art capabilities for the Defense and Intelligence Community, focusing on big data analytics tools and micro-service development through Agile sprints and long-term R&D cycles. The primary work location is in Bethesda, MD or other DIA facilities, with some flexibility for remote work.

As an Appian SW Integrator/Low Code Developer, your key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with system integration engineers to deploy release candidates to production.
• Participating in the testing, staging, and production deployment processes.
• Integrating container-based Appian solutions using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and other DevOpsSec tools.
• Monitoring automated system integration tests to identify issues.
• Managing project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines effectively.
• Encouraging a collaborative environment to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Required skills for success:

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly.
• Proficiency with Appian.
• Experience with containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Development and/or scripting experience, particularly in Python and Bash.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player.

You will excel even more with the following skills:

• Experience working with systems at scale.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Background in production/enterprise systems.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure.
• Appian certification.
• Knowledge of:
  • Kubernetes monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Appian integration with PostgreSQL or other databases.
  • SALT for deployment automation.
  • GraphQL.
  • Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash, with admin experience.
  • Helm and Helmfile.

Pay Range: $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
