Performance Reporting Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Performance Reporting Specialist to enhance our Technical Operations team at the O&M Division. This entry-level position is key in shaping performance report templates, generating periodic reports for stakeholders, and being the main contact for customer reviews related to operational performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting Development & Management

• Develop and maintain standardized templates for monthly and quarterly performance reports across PV and BESS assets.
• Create and distribute periodic reports to both customers and internal teams, ensuring adherence to reporting schedules.
• Keep track of report submissions, feedback, and revision histories for audit purposes.

Data Validation & Analysis

• Compile and validate site performance data from SCADA, DAS, and other monitoring platforms.
• Assist the Performance Engineering and Field Operations teams by ensuring data accuracy across all systems.
• Contribute to the development of visual dashboards and data models using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

Customer Communication & Coordination

• Prepare for customer reviews by managing slide decks, summaries, and key performance metrics.
• Act as the primary contact for inquiries and follow-ups regarding reporting deliverables.

System Integration & Process Improvement

• Collaborate with the Remote Operations Center (ROC) and IT teams to automate and streamline reporting workflows.
• Contribute to process documentation and improvement initiatives within the Technical Operations team.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, statistics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience, ideally in energy, utilities, or data reporting environments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation) is essential. Basic knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
• Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently while engaging effectively within a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with renewable energy monitoring systems (SCADA, DAS, or HEIS).
• Basic understanding of solar PV and BESS operations.
• Experience with data visualization, dashboard creation, or report automation.
• Customer service orientation, with an ability to respond swiftly and professionally to inquiries.
