Job Description

A reputable hospital in Cooperstown, NY is seeking two Locum Tenens CRNAs for ongoing day-shift coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative anesthesia team, enjoy flexible scheduling, and work a broad surgical case mix in a high-quality OR environment.
Position Highlights
  • Shift Options: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour day shifts
  • Schedule: Prefer providers available 4-5 days/week
  • On-Call: No call required
    Average Cases: ~4 per day (varies by shift length)
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Team Structure:
    • OR staff support
    • On-site anesthesiologist coverage
Case Mix
  • General
  • Ortho
  • Plastics
  • Vascular
  • GYN
  • Healthy pediatrics
  • Robotic cases
  • Hybrid OR
  • Patient Population: ASA 1-5, diverse
Required Skills
  • Intubation
  • IV insertion
  • Arterial line placement
  • Central venous line placement
  • Spinal anesthesia
Qualifications
  • Board Certification Required (AANA)
  • Active New York RN & CRNA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS & ACLS
  • Experience with a broad surgical case mix
