Job Title: Quality Engineer for Aerospace Applications
Location: Hanover, PA
Pay Range: $75K-$90K
Shift: 1st Shift
What You'll Do:
- Lead and support aerospace programs to guarantee compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Analyze drawings, inspection sheets, process procedures, and procurement documentation to fulfill quality and configuration requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison among customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding quality-related issues and programs such as PPAP.
- Provide guidance and support to Quality Assurance Inspectors, technicians, and production staff on quality requirements and procedures.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, purchasing, and inspection teams to support quality assurance activities and meet customer requirements.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in an aeronautical environment within a quality control role.
- In-depth knowledge of quality engineering principles, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT), gauging, calibration, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Strong ability to work independently with sound judgment and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and quality documentation processes.
