Join our dynamic team as a Field-Based Property Claims Adjuster In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our customers through the claims process, helping them to recover and restore their homes after damage. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating and evaluating claims on-site to resolve coverage and damage issues, preparing detailed estimates for repairs.
  • Independently managing moderate to complex claims from initial report to final resolution.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by explaining coverage details and assisting policyholders with damage itemization, emergency repairs, and living arrangements.
  • Collaborating with vendors such as contractors and repair services.
  • Occasionally participating in catastrophe response efforts.

Position Details:

  • Your work will primarily be performed in the field, interacting directly with customers in the local area.
  • You will benefit from a comprehensive 5-month training program comprising virtual learning and two in-person sessions at our Lewisville, TX office.
  • Mileage reimbursement is provided, and you may qualify for a company-provided vehicle as your mileage thresholds are met.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of claims handling procedures and operations.
  • Outstanding customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least 1 year of directly related experience.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licensing.
  • Understanding of building construction principles.
