Job Overview:
As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and educating patients about various acute and chronic medical conditions. You'll collaborate closely with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities:
The following duties represent the core expectations of this position. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers.
- Deliver friendly and convenient patient care services to all who seek help.
- Lead and support during emergencies, providing comfort and reassurance to patients.
- Adapt to varying environments characterized by fast-paced and high-stress conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, treatment, and follow-up for patients seeking primary care, urgent care, and occupational health services.
- Perform essential medical procedures, including laceration repairs, nail removals, pap tests, and abscess drainages.
- Establish and monitor appropriate levels of care for clinic patients.
- Supervise on-site laboratory services and support clinical operations to align with medical policies and standards.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies that enhance quality of care and patient satisfaction.
- Engage in continuing education programs for medical staff and contribute to team development.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the clinic at internal and external meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active state license as an APRN or PA.
- Current Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
- Current DOT certification or the willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Current BLS certification.
Work Schedule:
Our full-time team members work rotating schedules of 36-40 hours a week, including 12-hour shifts on weekdays and every other weekend. As a PRN team member, you will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
