Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist capable of performing radiography procedures with adherence to prescribed protocols and ensuring high-quality results. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting diagnostic procedures while maintaining high standards of film quality.
2. Minimizing film artifacts and keeping cassettes clean.
3. Documenting all procedures and stat reads in accordance with departmental policies.
4. Obtaining patient histories and assisting radiologists during examinations.
5. Communicating with supervisors regarding supply needs.
6. Managing radiologic equipment effectively, including powering down and rebooting systems as necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:

• High School Diploma or GED; graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Completion of ongoing training and competencies relevant to our patient population.
• Licensing and certification: ARRT (R) or registry eligible, Texas Department of State Health Services MRT certification, and current BLS certification.
