Anesthesiologist

Our client, a community hospital serving a diverse population in New York City, is seeking an Attending Anesthesiologist.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthetics to ensure patients are pain-free during surgical and medical procedures.
- Assess patients to determine surgical risks, appropriate anesthetics, and sedation, and discuss findings with the medical team.
- Document the type and amount of anesthesia and sedation administered, as well as patient condition before, during, and after anesthesia.
- Provide consultative, resuscitative, and therapeutic care for patients in shock, respiratory distress, or experiencing acute or chronic pain.
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of ACGME-approved residency in Anesthesiology.
- Board certified by the ABA or in the process of certification.
- Valid New York State license, DEA, and Medicaid number.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in public health systems preferred.
