Network Solutions Architect

Description: We are seeking a dynamic Network Solutions Architect to develop, implement, and support innovative network services and solutions for our consulting clients. In this critical role, you will foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges, and working collaboratively to create effective technical solutions. Your mentorship and technical expertise will empower our team while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain essential documents and procedures.
- Assist Project Managers and Practice Leads in executing large-scale projects efficiently within budget and timelines.
- Take on a leadership role, guiding Engineers in the successful completion of tasks.
- Serve as the Lead Engineer on diverse projects involving various technologies.
- Provide proactive communication and daily updates on project status, timelines, and concerns to team members.
- Work cross-functionally with different business units to enhance customer experience.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and leadership during team and client meetings.
- Contribute to product research, configuration standards, and educate sales teams for better client engagement.
- Maintain a team-oriented atmosphere while demonstrating professionalism and respect.
- Stay current with vendor certifications and industry trends to enhance product offerings.
- Meet a minimum billing requirement of 1,450 hours per fiscal year while balancing personal development and on-the-job training.

Required Experience:
- 5+ years in a technical-related field.
Preferred Experience:
- 6-8 years in a technical-related field.
- 4+ years as a Consultant.
Required Skills, Education, and Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification.
- Two or more Professional level certifications such as CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA.
- Experience in designing and architecting network solutions.
- Expertise in installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network products.
- Familiarity with IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Best Practices.
- Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP; L2/L3 architecture; design, multicast, and QoS.
Preferred Skills, Education, and Certifications:
- Advanced certifications (CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, ACMP) and experience with Cisco Nexus technologies.
- Expertise in Cisco-based VPN solutions and Cisco/Meraki/Aruba Wireless Technologies.
- Familiar with network security appliances like Cisco ASA/FTD and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with core technologies such as Riverbed, OpenDNS, Infoblox, and more.
