Job Description

Project Manager - Federal Projects

One of the country's top general contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager with extensive federal project experience to lead large-scale, high-profile construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex projects from pre-construction through closeout while ensuring compliance with federal regulations, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of assigned federal construction projects, overseeing schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Direct project teams, subcontractors, and vendors for efficient and compliant project execution.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and compliance reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and expectations.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Travel to job sites as required or relocate for specific project assignments.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading large-scale federal construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of federal contracting regulations
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate as project
