Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST | 8-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch
Summary
As a Mail Services Associate, you will support mailroom operations for a building or campus. This role focuses on assisting customers at the shipping counter- no mail delivery duties involved . The position requires frequent standing and handling shipping-related services.
Role Notes
- This position does not involve delivering mail.
- The associate will remain behind the counter assisting with shipping requests.
- Work involves retail-style shipping services, similar to Pony Express or other multi-carrier shipping stores.
- Standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.
- Valid Notary license is a plus but not mandatory.
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Stand for most of the workday (approximately 95%).
- Lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- ssist customers at the client's shipping center counter.
- Take passport photos for customers.
- Process outgoing shipments using FedEx, USPS, and Client.
- Operate mailing systems for outbound shipments and tracking.
- Provide general customer service for shipping and mailing needs.
Preferred Candidate Experience
- Candidates with prior experience in a mailing, shipping, or similar retail environment are preferred.
- Notary experience is an added advantage.
Required Experience
- Entry-level : No prior experience required.
- Preferred: 1+ year as a notary or in a mailing/shipping role.
Education
- High School Diploma required.
Systems / Software
- Microsoft Office Suite
