Job Overview:
• We're looking for a strategic Technical Analyst/Writer to drive developer enablement across our technology organization. This role leads the creation of platform standards, reusable assets, and high-level architecture guidance to streamline development workflows. You'll collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to improve integration, performance, and developer experience through clear documentation, process refinement, and platform leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and users to capture requirements that promote innovation and enable the success of development teams across the technology organization.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications to advance productivity engineering and enhance the developer experience.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of software development practices, agile frameworks, DevOps automation, and emerging industry trends to inspire new tools and optimized workflows for developers.
• Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and best practices to encourage continuous improvement across our platforms.
• Efficiently query and analyze technical data and metrics to deliver actionable insights that support the enablement and performance of development teams.
• Ensure the integrity and security of data while supporting automation and self-service solutions for developers.
• Organize and curate enablement content in collaborative tools (such as wikis), making technical knowledge accessible, intuitive, and impactful.
• Partner with cross-functional teams-including developers, QA engineers, and analysts-to drive effective communication and shared ownership of continuous improvement.
• Lead the user story creation process from inception to development-ready, ensuring requirements are clearly documented and actionable for all teams.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges related to productivity engineering, agile workflows, and developer operations efficiently and proactively.
• Implement innovative solutions to optimize systems and processes, driving developer productivity and success across the technology organization.

DDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Position is HYBRID: onsite 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Will consider candidates who live within 50 miles of OneMain corporate offices in Irving TX, Baltimore MD, Evansville IN, Wilmington DE, Charlotte NC

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory Skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle
• Experience with platform engineering concepts

Desired Skills
• Background in quality/software engineering, developer enablement, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Technical product requirements gathering and understanding
• Hands-on experience with collaboration and knowledge-sharing tools
