Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Material Handler to assist in the preparation of our facilities for move-in and to contribute to the overall organization and efficiency of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and able to work collaboratively with the team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in Cleaning for Move-In:

  2. Perform cleaning tasks to ensure the facility is in optimal condition for move-in.
  3. Clean and sanitize designated areas, including but not limited to floors, surfaces, and common spaces.
  4. Moving Materials:

  5. Safely move materials and equipment to their designated areas within the facility.
  6. Follow established procedures for handling and transporting materials.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and organized material placement.
  8. Affixing Tape to Warehouse Floor:

  9. Apply tape to the warehouse floor according to predetermined guidelines.
  10. Ensure proper placement and alignment of tape to designate specific areas within the warehouse.
  11. Maintain a neat and organized workspace while performing tape-affixing tasks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in facilities support or related roles preferred.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy objects as required.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
