We are seeking a Senior Production Planner to oversee the entire Production Plan including scheduling and inventory control ensuring the manufacturing priorities support customer's production schedules.
So, what will you be doing as a Senior Production Planner?
- Lead members of the production planning team to successfully execute inventory management and production planning.
- Collaborate with members of the management leadership team to maximize efficiency of Supply Chain processes including warehouse stock levels, inventory, raw material levels and change management.
- Monitor manufacturing planning activities.
- Coordinate with Planning Team and Manufacturing Managers to determine current and future job sequencing, machine schedule priorities, required resources to meet demands, exceptions and production alerts required to overcome exceptions.
- Provide status reports of part in production.
- Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
- Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.
- 5 years in Production Planning or Program Management.
- Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- Prior experience working with Epicor or other ERP system.
