About the Role:

The CT Technologist is responsible for executing diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures in accordance with established protocols to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment. You will conduct CT scans by selecting appropriate exposure factors and algorithms, while also considering patient age and diagnosis to produce high-quality cross-sectional images that support radiological diagnosis. Furthermore, you will assist in complex invasive CT examinations through collaboration with Radiologists or Physician’s Assistants while adhering to stringent sterile techniques.

Qualifications:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist from the Connecticut Department of Public Health must be obtained before your hire or transfer date.
• ARRT CT Advanced certification is required within 12 months of entering the role; failure to obtain this certification may result in termination or transfer out of the CT Technologist position.

Education:

• A graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
