Your Responsibilities
- Conducting in-depth patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and creating individualized treatment strategies
- Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions, either independently or alongside fellow healthcare providers
- Informing patients and their families about preventative measures, wellness practices, and disease management strategies
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapies aligned with your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management compliantly
- Collaboratively working alongside interdisciplinary teams to foster holistic care experiences
- Meticulously documenting patient encounters within electronic medical records (EMR)
- A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Jersey
- National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain them within three months
- Exceptional clinical judgment complemented by a warm and understanding bedside approach
- Outstanding communication skills for engaging effectively with patients, families, and the clinical team
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced, patient-focused settings
- Proficient in EMR systems with a capability in telehealth models
- A collaborative attitude and dedication to evidence-based methodologies
