Seeking a Principal Software Engineer AI Architect for a high growth defense contractor.
The Principal Software Engineer would be responsible for implementing and optimizing solutions on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of working across the software development life cycle in Agile environments, with excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills.

responsibilities:
- System Architecture: Lead the design and development of AI-enabled embedded systems, integrating hardware, software, and algorithms.
- Hardware Integration: Define system/software architecture and communication interfaces; support the hardware team with board design reviews.
- Platform Expertise: Implement and optimize applications on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors using C/C++ in Ubuntu/Linux environments.
- AI & Prototyping: Leverage Python for rapid prototyping, data processing, and AI workflow integration.
- Technical Leadership: Drive code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing to maintain high engineering standards.
- Agile Collaboration: Execute within an Agile framework (JIRA/Confluence/Git) and communicate technical roadmaps to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
