Your Responsibilities Include:
- Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care strategies
- Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or emerging health issues, working in tandem with physicians or autonomously (depending on your credentials)
- Providing education to patients and families about prevention strategies, wellness practices, and ongoing health management
- Prescribing medications and therapies within the legal scope of practice
- Participating in ongoing patient management and chronic care follow-up
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, comprehensive patient care
- Accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Advanced Practice Nurse licensure in Oklahoma
- National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC), or an equivalent qualification in your specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to secure these within 90 days)
- A strong clinical understanding complemented by a warm and empathetic bedside manner
- Exceptional communication skills with patients, their families, and your healthcare colleagues
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, patient-focused settings
- Proficiency with EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth applications
