Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP RAR Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP's Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) module and be responsible for its implementation, configuration, and maintenance in a dynamic business environment. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, SAP technical teams, and functional experts to ensure efficient implementation of RAR that meets regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP RAR for clients across various industries.
  • nalyze client requirements and design SAP RAR solutions that align with business needs and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
  • Configure and maintain the SAP RAR module, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, etc.).
  • Conduct gap analysis and provide solutions for the effective setup of SAP RAR, including handling multi-element arrangements, performance obligations, and revenue recognition schedules.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on SAP RAR functionality, workflows, and best practices.
  • ssist in testing and validating SAP RAR configurations to ensure accurate revenue recognition processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and IT, to ensure a smooth deployment of SAP RAR.
  • Provide training and support to end users on the RAR module.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for the SAP RAR system.
  • Stay updated on changes to revenue recognition standards and SAP RAR features, ensuring compliance with legal and financial reporting standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP RAR implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606, IFRS 15).
  • Familiarity with SAP RAR integration with other SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Experience with finance, accounting, and/or sales business processes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
Preferred Skills:
  1. SAP Certification in Revenue Accounting and Reporting (or related certification).
  2. Knowledge of global revenue recognition compliance and reporting requirements.
  3. Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
