Calypso Business Analyst

- 5+ years experience with Calypso Implementations for Institutional firms.
- Multiple project experience in dealing with issues in implementation/upgrade of Calypso
- Knowledge and experience dealing with modules like Front Office Trade Capture /Risk / Middle Office / Payments / Confirmations / Accounting / Downstream & Upstream system integration.
- Serve as liaison between IT and business units for the purpose of eliciting, documenting, validating, socializing, and modeling requirements and business processes.
- Work with business units to identify strategic and tactical improvements and/or opportunities and work with IT management to assist in the prioritization of those needs.
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
- Be the subject matter expert
- Assist software development teams with problem analysis, tracking, and resolution.
- B.S. in management information systems, finance, and/or computer science.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT with a focus on requirements management.
- Demonstrable knowledge of business concepts applicable to finance and accounting.
- Strong SQL Experience
- Basic project management/administration skills.
- Ability to conceptually model solutions using a variety of standard notations and viewpoints.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able work outside normal hours as needed to meet objectives.
