Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

• Position Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse
• Division: Nursing – Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool

• Assignment Duration: 8 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shifts per Week: 3 (12 Hour Day Shifts)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,827 - $2,030
• Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday required
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• EMR System: Cerner
• Vaccination Requirement: Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MST) RN experience
• Active New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Ability to float between RMC and Hopewell healthcare campuses as needed
• Professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in Medical-Surgical Telemetry units and Emergency Department Holds
• Float between Trenton healthcare facilities and nursing units as assigned
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR system
• Comply with hospital policies, including vaccination and shift coverage requirements
• Make up any missed scheduled shifts within the same week (overtime not permitted; assignment end date may be extended to accommodate missed shifts)
