A dynamic manufacturing company is searching for a Senior Cost Analyst in the Aurora area to join full-time. You will be responsible for operations expense reporting, business support and business analytics. Idea candidate is knowledgeable about manufacturing and logistics costs. You work directly with finance and accounting team along with executive leaders. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $90,000 per year.

Job Description:

  • Assist the Finance Operations team on any analysis necessary to setup and roll costs for purchased and manufactured items on a yearly basis.
  • Analyze the reporting data to understand business changes and variances for providing management with observations and suggestions for cost reductions.
  • Schedule reconciliations of WMS (warehouse management systems) to SAP.
  • Lead the preparation of analytics that are included in the monthly reporting package.
Requirements:
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Great analytical skills
  • Disciplined work ethic and the capability to handle multiple projects.
  • Demonstrates a high level of people orientation and respect towards others.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
  • Cost accounting, manufacturing and SAP experience required
