What You Will Do:

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat?Enterprise?Linux?environment.

• Working as a team member in a?fast-paced?technological?environment.? Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.

• Provide mentorship and guide prioritization of tasks to junior admins.

• Experience in cross-team collaboration, and lead projects as directed.

• Manage ESXi, VCenter and a functional understanding of VDI.

• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.?

• Experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.

• Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.

• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.

• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.?

• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

• Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

• Travel?required?as business?needs?dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.

• Full time 100% Onsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience with some of, but not limited to, the following technologies: Windows or Linux administration, backup, and recovery enterprise suites.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Red Hat Enterprise Server, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, BackupExec, NetBackup, prior systems administration and networking administration experience.

• Experience with cloning techniques.

• Use and guide use of automation tools e.g. Ansible.

• Experience with operating system concepts and implementations.

• Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).

• Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

• Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.

• Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
