Summary / Objective:
The Construction Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager in overseeing 5-8 mechanical construction projects simultaneously, from start to finish.
Essential Functions:

- Manage procurement from start to finish, including submittals, procurement tracking, purchase orders, and closeout documentation
- Maintain document control, including updated drawing sets, specifications, meeting agendas, and file systems
- Research, submit, track, and return RFIs
- Assist the Project Manager with project startup and closeout processes
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on material orders and equipment deliveries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional email and phone etiquette
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Corporate environment or job site - fully onsite.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Travel:
No travel required. This is a fully onsite position.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- General understanding of mechanical systems (plumbing, hydronics, sheet metal)
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Sage, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical construction project engineering
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools and software
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Clean background check
- U.S. citizenship
- Valid driver's license
