Job Overview:

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles for our customers.
  • Expand your skills as an automotive mechanic working on both domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Perform detailed and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
  • Collaborate with the service team to accurately address and troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with the service department regarding customer concerns.
  • Team up with fellow technicians to resolve issues, meet objectives, and achieve outstanding results.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive technician/mechanic field.
  • Some ASE certifications required, and preference for ASE Master applicants.
  • MI state certifications necessary.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing vehicles of all makes and models.
  • Aim to meet or exceed hourly productivity goals.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new skills and processes.
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
  • Interest in long-term career development.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting/moving of items over 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles elevated above waist level.
  • Comfort working in confined spaces as required for vehicle repairs.
  • Dexterity to effectively use hand tools.
  • Ability to stand or walk for the majority of the workday.
  • Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Competence in navigating computer systems efficiently.
