Role Summary

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer specializing in Data Migration to lead and execute large-scale data migrations into ServiceNow. The role focuses on Import Sets, Transform Maps, data validation, CMDB/ITSM data loads, and ensuring data accuracy during new implementations, upgrades, or platform consolidations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data migration activities for ServiceNow implementations and upgrades.
  • Design and develop Import Sets, Transform Maps, and staging tables.
  • Migrate data into ITSM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, FSM, Asset, and Catalog modules.
  • Perform data cleansing, normalization, deduplication, and validation.
  • Handle large volume data loads using scheduled jobs and scripted imports.
  • Develop Scripted Transform Maps using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
  • Execute delta loads, reconciliation, and rollback strategies.
  • Validate migrated data with stakeholders and support UAT & go-live.
  • Maintain data mapping documents, migration plans, and audit reports.
  • Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize performance.
