A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20252026 school year in a K-12 school setting located near Wappingers Falls, NY. This role offers an opportunity to provide school-based therapy services to support the communication and academic development of school-aged students within a collaborative and nurturing environment. Location: Poughkeepsie, New York Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (20252026 school year) Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and state education standards Provide direct therapy to enhance communication skills and support academic and social success Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to monitor and promote student progress Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and offer professional input Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and compliance with regulatory requirements Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current New York SLP license or eligibility to obtain one ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply Experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology highly regarded Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills essential Benefits and Perks: Competitive compensation reflective of experience and credentials Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage available for eligible W-2 employees 401(k) plan with company matching contributions Access to clinical advisory support and mentorship from licensed field experts Opportunities for license reimbursement and ongoing professional development This position offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children within an educational setting.
