Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming products and materials.

  • Accurately pick items from inventory according to pick lists or customer orders.

  • Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.

  • Manage, organize, and retrieve stock.

  • Inspect products for defects and damages.

  • Organize warehouse space and maintain cleanliness.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Check, verify, and fill customer invoices.

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.

  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Adhere to company quality standards and safety regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in inventory management, picking, and material handling.

  • Proficiency in operating RF scanners, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

The position is based in a brand new facility with a projected headcount of 200-250 people. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots, with safety glasses provided. Long pants of thicker material and long sleeves or cut-resistant sleeves are required, except for leggings. The role requires the ability to stand or walk for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25–50 lbs. You will work in a manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. The work schedule is a rotating shift of 2-2-3 from 6 am to 6 pm. The initial week will involve comprehensive training before team assignments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
