Position Objective:
As a Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional medical care. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized treatment plans. This is a safety-sensitive position with a focus on direct patient care and medication administration. You will report to a Regional Manager and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ethical medical practice using sound judgment and stay updated on industry standards.
- Fulfill all clinical obligations, including compliance with regulatory standards.
- Independently care for patients with acute and chronic conditions common in older adults.
- Account for patient care and outcomes, collaborating with specialists when necessary.
- Engage with hospitalists for patients requiring hospitalization.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, while using evidence-based guidelines.
- Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient care.
- Ensure high-quality medical care focused on prevention and positive outcomes.
- Model compassionate behavior and uphold our commitment to quality and conscientious care.
- Oversee and guide Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants as needed.
- Ensure that physicians see patients at least every other visit.
- Provide 5-Star service aligned with our mission.
- Take on additional duties as required.
Position Requirements/Skills:
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active medical license in your practice state.
- Minimum of 3 years of outpatient primary care experience.
- ACLS/BLS certification as required by state regulations.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to interpret medical tests and results.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems.
- Proficient in diagnosing and managing chronic diseases in seniors.
- Ability to read and interpret professional journals and regulations.
- Appreciation for cultural diversity and sensitivity towards diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office for collaboration.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proven calmness and effectiveness in emergency situations.
- Resourcefulness, initiative, and a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

Physical Requirements:
- Full range of body motion is necessary, including the physical handling of patients and equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods in a clinical setting.
- Capable of lifting and moving patients and medical devices, with a requirement of up to 15 lbs.
- Must have corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and operate a motor vehicle.
