Our client, a leading player in the steel manufacturing industry, is an integrated producer of high-quality steel products serving a wide range of sectors including automotive, construction, energy, and appliances. With over a century of experience, the company is recognized for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. It operates advanced steelmaking facilities across the United States and Central Europe, combining traditional processes with cutting-edge technologies to meet the evolving demands of modern industry. Base salary dependent on level of experience (120-175k)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute industrial and capital projects in a steel production environment
  • Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Manage scope, resources, budgets, and timelines in accordance with organizational goals
  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and contractors
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout project phases
  • Prepare and present project documentation, reports, and closeout summaries

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within heavy manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is required
