We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to work on-site in Sacramento, California (remote work possible for the perfect candidate), assisting our client with establishing, implementing, and conducting project management activities to achieve project objectives. The role requires meeting mandated timelines for all SDLC project phases, planning, design, development, implementation, go-live, post-implementation stabilization, monitoring, and project closeout. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, cost, issues, risks, resources/stakeholders, status, reporting, communications, and change management.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage IT projects across multiple systems and interfaces within the SDLC.
- Ensure projects meet timelines and deliverables through all phases: planning, design, development, implementation, go-live, and post-implementation closeout.
- Coordinate scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, resources, stakeholders, status reporting, communications, and change management.
- Coordinate and gather analysis information, research methodologies, perform technical writing, and support legislative reporting and system enhancements.
- Required: 5+ years of PM experience with broad, extensive responsibilities; at least 3 years in lead capacity on large or complex IT projects.
- 3+ years of experience with SDLC projects supporting IT projects involving development and integration of multiple systems and interfaces.
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional project teams comprising diverse IT domains and software languages/tools.
- 2+ years of experience managing State of California IT projects with emphasis on the SDLC, including design, development, implementation, post-implementation monitoring, and closeout.
- 3+ years of experience coordinating analysis, researching methodologies, technical writing, legislative report writing, and planning system enhancements.
- 7+ years of PM experience with strong leadership in large or complex IT projects; at least 4 years in a lead capacity.
- 5+ years in SDLC project management for IT projects involving development and integration of multiple systems and interfaces.
- 4+ years leading cross-functional project teams, knowledge transfer, and mentoring.
- 3+ years managing State of California projects, with emphasis on the SDLC lifecycle.
- 4+ years coordinating analysis, methodologies, technical writing, and legislative reporting for system enhancements.
- Prolaw & Legal Case Management experience.
