Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs NC)
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  
• BLS certification required
  
• Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings
  
• Must reside at least 60 miles from Sylva, NC to qualify for travel nursing assignment
  

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring mothers and newborns
  
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to emergencies
  
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
  
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital standards for patient safety
