Job Overview

Join Lockheed Martin as a Network Engineer in Colorado Springs. You will support network communications, maintain multi?user networks, assist in new network designs, update documentation, troubleshoot issues, and provide system test support.

Responsibilities
  • Support operation and maintenance of network communications systems.
  • Maintain operations of multi?user networks, virtual computer systems, network performance, and network administration tasks.
  • Assist with network design of new capabilities.
  • Perform network documentation updates and sponsor peer reviews.
  • Record problem statements and create appropriate reports.
  • Perform intermittent patching, troubleshoot network issues, and provide system test support.
  • Record, prioritize, and work network discrepancies on the system.
Qualifications
  • Secret security clearance and DoD 8570?compliant certification.
  • BS degree and 1+ year professional experience.
  • DOD Secret Clearance.
  • DOD8570 certified.
  • Network configuration experience.
  • Experience documenting network settings.
  • Willing to work outside regular duty hours to support critical outages.
Desired Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills; ability to build consensus.
  • Experience with Red Hat or Linux?based operating systems.
  • Configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls.
  • Quick learner capable of absorbing technical material.
  • Ability to work with diverse group of engineers and technicians.
